Round 2 Test
  • You can start the test anytime between 7:00 PM and 8:30 PM for all the career tracks.
  • The test duration is between 50 minutes to 75 minutes (depending on the track) from the time you start the test.

  • Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide any additional slots for any of the career tracks.
  • No preparation is required for any of the round 2 tests and there are no coding questions.
  • You will be solving MCQ and Numerical Input type questions (similar to round 1).

ESAT Round 2 - Test Instructions
General instructions: 
  • You can start the test anytime between 7:00 PM and 8:30 PM for all the career tracks.
  • The test duration is between 50 minutes to 75 minutes (depending on the track) from the time you start the test.

    19 Oct - Start anytime between 7:00PM to 8:30PM IST for Design
    20 Oct - Start anytime between 7:00PM to 8:30PM IST for Business Operations
    21 Oct - Start anytime between 7:00PM to 8:30PM IST for People Operations
    22 Oct - Start anytime between 7:00PM to 8:30PM IST for Analytics
    23 Oct - Start anytime between 7:00PM to 8:30PM IST for Product and Growth
  • Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide any additional slots for any of the career tracks.
  • To take the test, Login to your embark dashboard OR,
    click on the CTA "Go to my Embark Dashboard now" button in the email that was sent to you. A screenshot is added below.
Test environment:
  • You must have a laptop/desktop to appear in the test. You can not take the test on your phone.
  • Make sure that your desktop/laptop is connected to power.
  • Use of external calculators is permitted. You can use a pen and paper for rough work.
  • You will be required to provide permissions for webcam, screen-sharing, and mic before starting your test.
  • It is necessary to keep video, audio, and screen sharing on while attempting the test. If you change the settings, the test interface will reload which will result in time loss at your end.
  • If your computer does not have a webcam, you can connect your phone’s camera. You will be provided with a step-by-step guide on how to connect your phone's camera.
  • If your computer does not have a mic, our system will auto-detect it and let you continue.
  • If your internet stops working during the test, you will be able to resume the test from the point where you had left. But unfortunately, you will lose time.
Test duration and sectional time limit:
  • The total time to finish the test is between 50 minutes to 75 minutes. It varies from track to track.
  • Each section has its own time limit that you will be able to see in the test interface.
Questions types:
  • There are no coding questions.
  • A question once skipped, can not be attempted again.
  • There are three types of questions:
    Single correct option: You will be required to select one correct option.
    Multiple correct options: You will be required to select all the correct options.
    Numerical input: You will be required to enter a numerical value in the given field.
  • Some questions have a case overview (or passage) that provides more context about the question.
  • Generally there are 3-5 associated questions with a case overview (or passage).
Scoring:
  • All the questions carry equal weightage.
  • There is negative marking for all MCQs.
  • There is no negative marking for the numerical input questions.
  • There is no negative marking for the skipped questions.
  • There is partial marking for MCQ questions that have more than one correct option e.g. if a question has a, b, c correct and you mark a, b. It will not be considered as negative marking rather you will get partial marks for this.
  • No weightage is given to the time taken to solve a particular question.
Result declaration & next steps:
  • The results for Round 2 will be declared on Oct 24, 11:30 PM.
  • For round 2 test dates & timings, please check the test schedule.
  • The number of qualified candidates after round 2 will vary depending upon the results and career track.
Career tracks for round 2:
  • You will get qualified for each track based on your performance. A candidate may get qualified for one track (Analytics), two tracks (Analytics & People Operations), three tracks (Analytics, People Operations, Product & Growth), and so on.
  • There will be a separate test for each track.
  • You can appear for the Round 2 test for all the tracks where you have qualified or appear for only those career tracks in which you are interested. The choice is yours.
  • There are no other pre-requisites except the performance in the test for the selection into the final program.

  1. Login issues
    • I am unable to login
      • We have sent the below email from care.embark@upraised.co with subject "Your Embark Skills Assessment Test is on Oct 17th, 2021."
      • Please check your inbox, promotion tab or SPAM tab to find this email.
      • Click on the "Go to Embark Dashboard now" button shown in the orange. You will be able to login directly to your dashboard.
    • Login Page is not loading
      • It is likely due to internet issues in which case:
        ▪ You should first confirm if the internet is working by going to https://ismyinternetworking.com/
        ▪ If your internet is working fine, it will show the below image:
      • If your internet is not working fine then you need to fix your internet connection. You can try following: 
        ▪ Try connecting to other networks or your mobile hotspot
        ▪ Switch off your wifi router and try re-starting after 10 seconds.
        ▪ Try restarting your browser
        ▪ Try a different browser e.g. if you were using Google Chrome, you can try Mozilla
        ▪ Open the upraised website in incognito mode and try logging in
        ▪ In the worst case, try restarting your computer, close all other windows & open the ESAT test
    • Not receiving OTP
      • Directly login by clicking on the "Go to Embark Dashboard now" button in the email that we have sent you. Screenshot is shared above under the point "I am unable to login"
    • It says incorrect OTP while login?

    • Don't have a webcam
      • In case you don't have a webcam. You can connect camera from your mobile phone.
      • To connect mobile camera, click on Get Help and connect your phone as shown below.
      • Get Help → Scan QR Code on Phone → Open the link in mobile browser → Start recording when prompted
      You can either scan the QR code OR enter the link https://go.xx shown above
      • Make sure to have enough battery in your phone to last for 2 hours
    • I have a webcam but it is not being detected
      • Click on the lock button on the URL bar
      • Select Allow in the Camera permissions
      • Click on Reload button

      OR

      • You can also connect the camera via phone in the same way as shown above.
    • My test is over, but video recording on phone is not stopping
      • You can close the window directly on phone. The camera on phone will stop recording video
    • I am getting an error "Your camera is blocked"
      • In this case, you need to give permissions for your camera to the browser.
        ▪ Step 1: Please click on the lock icon beside the URL in your browser

           ▪ Step 2: Allow camera permissions

           ▪ Step 3: Click on "Retry"

    • Unable to detect mic in my device / Don't have a mic device
      • You can proceed with the test in case your system does not have a mic. We auto-detect it and let you click on the "Next" button.
    • Screen-sharing option not getting approved
      • Click on Reload button
      • Click on the Share entire screen when prompted
      • Reload button → Share Screen Window → Share entire screen
    • Share button on the screen share is not enabled as shown below
      • Click on the screen shown in the below "Entire Screen" and the "Share" button will get enabled.
    • It is showing an error in screen sharing
      • This error may come because instead of sharing the "entire screen" you may have shared "window" or a particular "tab". Please click on "retry" and share the "entire screen".
    • Which browsers are supported for taking the test?
      • Not all browsers are supported. You should download the latest version of Google Chrome, Mozilla, Internet Explorer or Edge browser for attempting the test.
    • What happens when my browser is not compatible?
      • It will be shown to you as an error during the system check. You can click on "Get Help" and check the compatible browser
    • Can I take the test from Brave Browser?
      • No, brave browsers are not supported.
    • Test interface shows low internet connectivity?
      • Try connecting to other networks or your mobile hotspot OR,
      • Switch off your wifi router and try re-starting after 10 seconds.
      • Try restarting your browser
      • Try a different browser e.g. if you were using Google Chrome, you can try Mozilla
      • Open the upraised website in incognito mode and try logging in
      • In the worst case, try restarting your computer, close all other windows & open the ESAT test
