Trinity Smart Tiles
  • Use tiles to generate off grid electricity that slightly displace vertically when someone walks on them. This movement results in a rotatory motion that generates electrical energy.

My Product Observations

Chess.com has a plethora of features to keep you hooked.
  • Its Analysis Engine classifies each move into 8 different types of move and not just good or bad.
  • It recommends training - Lessons and Puzzles based on mistakes you made in the game .
  • It lets you play a different move during analysis and analyzes that too!
  • It has a Chess TV that streams official chess tournaments.
  • Has a community and news section dedicated to Chess.
Gamifying buying a Coffee Cup !!
  • Third Wave Coffee let their Customers upgrade to Influencer and Ambassador that receive special benefits by just buying Coffee from their app.
  • It also has a Community and News section related to events about Coffee around the world.
  • Nice way to nudge Customers to buy Coffee Cup from App rather than going to Cafe.

How would you improve Google Maps for ‘commuters using public transport’?

User Persona : Intra City Public Transport Commuter

Pain points:

  1. Unaware of timings, fare and routes of all Local Buses.
  2. Difficult to search Auto/ Taxi Stand in case of no Local Bus on any route.


Solutions :

  1. After filling in the destination by user, Show local buses on that route using information from local city bus service.
  2. Show time and corresponding fare.
  3. Option of Google pay to avoid the hassle of taking a ticket in the bus.
  4. Another menu showing nearby taxi and auto stands with estimated fare for that route.


How to Improve Facebook Likes?

User Persona : Posters
Pain Points

  1. Post gets lost among ads and promotional posts in news feed.
  2. Ignorant of Content Type that attains most likes.


Solutions :

  1. Let Posters prioritize 2-3 Posts per month on their friend’s home page.
  2. Facebook should suggest what type of content is being preferred by the user’s friends whether these are articles/blogs/Images/Videos so that Poster can share similar content
  3. An algorithm can be developed that tracks likes per post of segments of users that post with a different frequency.  An optimum frequency can be suggested.
